Injector testing how?

Hey, I don't know if this has been answered yet, cuz I'm on the digest. Anyhow, my solution to jumper the fuel pump on was to get a short piece of 18 ga. wire and crimp those flat blade-type quick disconnect terminators on both ends. Then just plug the ends into the larger holes of the fuel pump relay socket. To double check the right holes on your car check the wiring diagram and the numbers on the relay in the diagram should match up to those on the relay and socket. When I tested my injectors, I'm pretty sure I had to jumper the fuel pump and lift the airflow plate up. BTW, this was for my 5kT. Hopefully this does the trick for ya.

Subject: Injector testing how?

I am wanting to check the spray patterns of my fuel injectors so I popped out
4 of the 5 (5th one is impossible to get to under the ISV) and lifted the air
plate but nothing sprayed out of them and there was pressure in the line.
Does the fuel pump have to be running the whole time when you lift the air
plate? If so how do you jumper it without a "special tool"?
Thanks
DJ
