Are you Nuts? As cheap as I am, I wouldn't even consider it.
School buses are bought to fulfill a "lowest bid" contract, even
though they carry your dear loved ones. They are retired from
service because they can't squeeze anymore out of them (see
"lowest bid"). Have you ever bought a used car and then found
out what was really wrong with it? Imagine finding out what is
wrong with a used school bus 500 miles from FBE[1]. Your
average mechanic probably wouldn't touch it. And what
do you do with it when you get it to your new home?
I say rent a big U-Haul or Ryder or somesuch.
