comparing 2 MC's

I would concur,
It definately sounds like it COULD be a KH. Keep in mind
though that the KH also has a knock sensor. ITs very similar to
the MC except that due to the 2.1l Disp, head that doesnt' flow
as well and a cam that is not optimal at High RPM the MC does
run much better at high RPM. THe Free flow exhaust on the Sedan
will help that KH Rev up sooner and build boost faster, that
coupled with the Higher compression and a smaller K26 turbo will
definately make for a more responsive lower end.
Just a htought though, it oculd be that one of hte cars has
the cam retarded or advanced one tooth. First verify if you
have a KH or MC in the Sedan. IF its an MC I suspect that the
car is off by a tooth. Maybe from when a TIming Belt job was
doen previously.
