1987 5KCSTQ, fuel pump hints requested

Bet that since the black quat (the c.i.q., or car in question)has been sitting so long that the gas is now varnish and has clogged the filter/pump et al.  I had told Bill about it, and he said you'd have to drain the tank several times to get all of that stuff out.
