I don't think you can just swap in an RS4 MAF without other matching
changes (e.g., ECU programming). Also, the RS4 MAF doesn't fit the
S4's airbox, so you'd have to swap that too. Most tuners that offer
RS4 MAFs also include K04 turbos and RS4 injectors and pressure regulators,
etc. as a bundled kit. Interestingly, AWE Tuning says that the RS4 MAF
and injectors are "not appropriate" for the S4 and therefore has their
own proprietary solution. FWIW...
I recommend that you stay with a stock MAF if that's the only thing
you need to replace. Or else you run the risk of poor performance,
or possibly fault codes, etc. The alternative is to take the plunge and
have lots of $$ sucked out of your wallet and go to "mod nirvana"... :-)
