The inline 5 is back!

Its almost identical to a VR6 with one cylinder missing.  Yes, they make
them!  Once properly balanced, it doesn't really matter what the shape of
the motor is.
I believe the new motor is in fact an I5 this time around, but I could be
wrong.  VW themselves refer to it as an I5, when they have always been clear
(and proud) about announcing the VR-equipped cars.

wtf? how is it possible to make a V engine with an odd number
of cyls?
