Engine Soft Code for 200hp, 2.8l, Audi A6 with Manual

Of course, advance the ignition timing, take out the engineered flat spots
(for emissions testing). 10 hp on a 2.8 is easily achievable imho. After
all, ive seen chips for my ng (2.3) advertising 17 hp, which would probably
be very unreliable but I doubt it to be unobtainable. Here in the uk all the
boyracers put chips in their N/A cars and generally get 5-15 hp (and im
talking under 2litres here). But of course, it depends on the standard code,
and the spec of the management system.

I have been informed that it's possible to get the extra ponies by an ECU
recode and would like to try it.
I would not be surprised if Audi put the A6 engine 'map' in the 2.8 ECU,
nor would I be surprised if it were not there and the extra HP is one of
those 'myths'.
