Speaking of the 5-Series, I just finished reading the January Car &
Driver. They had tests of 3 BMWs - the new 5 sedan, the new 6 coupe and
the new X3... Hard to believe but they really were very critical of the 5
(technology interfering with driving) and X3 (horrible ride) and had
negative comments about some aspects of the 6 as well... I can't think of
the last time they had so many negative comments about a BMW... Well,
perhaps it was when they tested the 7-Series...! Frankly, BMW's 'styling'
makes the new A6, pictured in the January Automobile magazine, look very
nice indeed, even with the new horse-collar grille....
