**** Yes, he says what A is , but not its effect. You have to mull over A/(A
+B) before realizing its impact as a function of a changing tool length.
This was not apparent to me until I plotted the function. The graph looks
like a Learning Curve. All the action takes place where the tool length is
within 4 lengths of the extender length.
The extender on that site is so long that the tool length does not make
dramatic changes in the bolt torque. That thing must be 5 feet long!
