torque (new thought inside)

Here is a list of recommended torque values for different metric bolts (2nd page):

Seems that according to the ISO spec, the Grade 12.9 M18 bolt in the crank should get 463 N-m. That's about 341 ft-lbs. Just as many on the list had thought. Seems as though most of the confusion in this thread came from miscommunication, so if we decide to post/comment about another post, we really should take the time to read it carefully.
