These items all get power via the circuit supplied through fuse S12.
If you checked out the fuse and it's ok, then verify that circuit has
power - does your center console voltmeter and oil temp gauge work?
Because those are also powered via that circuit.
If the power checks out ok, then maybe it's the ground connections
being bad. The backup lights do not share the same ground path
as the diff lock lights, so maybe these are separate problems.
The back up lights are grounded in the trunk, along with the license
plate lights. Do the license plate lights work?
The diff lock lights are grounded under the rear seat.
Check the Bentley wiring diagram again and you'll see what I'm talking
about.
