1.8T vs 2.8 V6

Chipped 1.8Ts in the B5 chassis tend to be around
190-198hp, depending on the tuner, very inexpensive
way to gain a bunch of hp.

The PES supercharger is only for the 30v- not really worth
it unless you pick up a 2.8 for really cheap, because the
S4tt isn't that much more.

If you're planning on leaving it stock, I'd go with the 2.8-
much smoother engine, nice power delivery.

Are you a family man or a tuner guy?

A 150hp vs the 172 V6 stock, I'd go with the V6, much
smoother on the highway, more torque(I towed my duc w/
uhaul trailer @ 80-90mph no problem)97 A4 V6.

If you get the 1.8T, i'd definately chip it(~170hp i
believe). You do get better gas mileage. Also not sure
if you like leather, but the 1.8T didn't come in
leather.(leatherette)

I also think there is a supercharger made for the V6,
not sure if it's for the 12V or the 30V though.
