Hey Barry,

The reason those lenses are expensive is because you cannot replace the 
lens alone in the DOT lights, you have to replace the entire headlight. 
If you do decide to do the upgrade to euro lights you may have to pay a 
little more for the headlights but after you have the options to replace 
the lens alone if it cracks. You are also getting the added benefit of 
actually being able to see with e-code lights. It's a very worthy 
upgrade. If you still want to replace your original DOT light try to 
find some used ones. They are not worth that money.
