New tires rubbing

Hi all,
This isn't making sense to me. On my 89 200q, the previous owner had 17x7.5
rims with a 35mm offset. He had 215/45 tires on the car. There was little
clearance on the back fender, but it never rubbed, ever! I found out one of
the rims was cracked and I needed to replace the tires and rims. So I order
new rims and tires, exact same rim size and tire size. Now the rear pass
side tire rubs when the car rolls on a left turn. It isn't a bad rub, but
it is noticeable inside the car. The rear driver's side wheel does not rub
at all, and seems to have a few more millimeters of clearance. Anyone have
any idea why this might be happening? I had an alignment done and that
didn't help. TIA.

Mike Robinson
