The right tool for the job always makes things easier, but I don't think 
you would have any problem doing it with a regular floor jack.  You 
might need some 4x4 wood blocks for propping, but I don't think you 
would have to have a hoist.  Just do one at time and don't bolt them 
down to the engine of course until you have them all in and you can 
realign everything.
