Hey Mark, yes, its quite common, Bernie's is the only intake valve I've seen, but that was really a vavle keeper failure, not a valve failure.

Yes, NG intake valves, which requried a new valve seat, valve seat area was not reduced from stock, and the exh. valve seats were untouched.

>From now on, if I built up a heavily used 10vt, I'd use Inconnel Exh. valves, no question about it, I'm not sure what caused it specifically, its hard to say at this point.
