4K v. 80/90 for a turbo transplant

I'd go with the 90Q. Overall it's a much better car that the 4000q, not to say that the 4000q is a bad car...

Although a bit heavier by a couple hundred pounds, the 90q is mor solid feeling and has some better design characteristics over the 4000q. If your worried about the weight buy an 80q with manual windows and seats. 

About the only thing I would consider to be wrong with the 80/90q are the gearboxes, they are weaker than the 016 found in the 4000q, but are readily available in scrap yards or through rebuiders.
