85-87 4000Q differences WAS: 40K miles on 84 4000Q!!!

Splitting hairs here....

The actual 3rd brake light first appears on 86's, but 87's, and maybe later
86's, have a different rear defroster. The "quattro" is higher up on the
window, and there are defroster lines that frame the 3rd brake light.

4000S quattros continued beyond 1985 in Canada. I have an 86 without leather
steering wheel, shift knob, or rear spoiler.

Oh, there is one distinguishable change.  For '85 the 4Kq is officially
the "4000S quattro", whereas for '86 and '87 that changed to "4000CS
quattro".
