Replacing differential fluid on Type-44

Assuming you mean a manual gearbox, there are three plugs. One on the side level with the
halfshaft - the fill plug.

One is vertically below the halfshaft almost on the lower edge of the box, and one is
centrally below the differential, a good way back. The latter two are the drain plugs.

When you fill by quantity - as recommended - the fluid doesn't quite reach the lip of the fill
plug. Both differential and gearbox are filled through the gearbox hole.

(It's labelled for the Type 85, but the manual Type 44Q is much the same.)
