Audi A3 1.6 FSI Direct injection (gas) engine.....check this out..

Just two problems:
1) rumor has it the USA won't get the 3 door (2 doors plus hatch), we 
will only get the 5 door (4 doors plus hatch)

2) USA fuel has too much sulfer content, doesn't work well with the FSI 
engine (at least that's what I have heard), so I don't think we will see 
the FSI engines for a few years yet.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (and I honestly hope I am).
