I do it regulary on my 2 200tq.  Well, let's say every 20Kmi as I keep forgetting to do it every oil change.  When I rebuild prop shaft the U-joint was like new (at 150Kmi).  Too bad I lost 2 needles :(  But I owned the car since 130Kmi only and I doubt previous owners lubed it.
