Computer codes? 1111--Ned's comments

In a no start condition you have to crank the engine for at least 5
seconds before pulling any codes.

Since the engine doesn't crank over there are lots of sensors that have
not received a signal.

Reference pin on the flywheel
Engine speed sensor on the flywheel
Hall unit in the distributor

If I was the computer I'd give a 1111 too.

Just because a starter goes klunk does not indicate that the solenoid
has made an electrical connection to turn the starter over.

REPLACE starter with probably defective contact in the solenoid.

he originally said he was getting the loud click which
implies the starter circuit is working

one thought....imagine a really bad battery or really
bad connection to battery, try to start it, voltage
goes down so just the click, would the ecu throw a
1111 from that?
