It seems slow for you in the US, but 0-100 (which is exactly 62 mph) 
doesnt matter that much here in Europe. At least not to the general 
buyers, anyways. Some people are quite happy piloting a 1.4 Golf, which 
needs around 14 seconds to reach 100 kmh. It's also nicer on the gas 
bill, which is a bigger factor here than in USA.
