low power lamps, bulbs for tight places in Audis

Hi All,

A few years ago I found a place that sells low power bulbs for passenger
aircraft applications. Some are used for emergency lighting when a plane
loses power or crash lands and they have very stringent specifications.
However, the prices are not very different from ordinary bulbs. One place
that sold them is Lamp Specialists, 1123 Oddstad Drive, Redwood City, CA,
415-364-9881. The number is probably 650-364-9881 now after the area code
changed.

In order to buy bulbs from them you have to determine the specs of the bulb
to be replaced.

HTH.

Cheers!

Jim Jordan
