Audi A3 1.6 FSI Direct injection (gas) engine.....check this

Yup, my 1993 RX-7 R1 (FD, Gen III) has ONLY ~250 hp, yet somehow manages a 0-60 of 4.9 and skid pad of 1.0g on TINY 17" rims (sarcasm). Some of today's definitaions of high performance seem screwey to me...

That's because our economy is doing 'so' well now (he says sarcastically).

True on the cars though. 10 years ago, 300 hp was considered a real 
"performance" car...like the vette, 300zxtt, RX7, and supra tt. Now 
days, the moderate family sedan is closing in on that mark.
