5k serpentine conversion?

The AAN 20V I5 uses a serpentine belt, Kurt, but as Ken pointed out, make
sure you are using belts with the metric V profile. I solved the belt loss
problem on my 5ktq by buying the belts from the dealer and giving up on the
cheaper belts from the chain stores.

Subject: 5k serpentine conversion?
My '87 5ktq just lost its 2nd alternator belt in as many months to the
rain. Is a serpentine conversion easy on this model? Do any of the 10V
cars have serpentine that I could transplant? I only see references to
serpentine for V8 models in the archives. I would expect increased
reliability based on my experience with other vehicles and possibly a
couple HP gain.
