Yes, looks like that ebay car had the skirts added or is otherwise some kind
of orphan...I think my interpretation was due to my limited understanding of
how Family Album works.

They are from the '85-87 models.  The trim should have been painted
body color for better integrated looks...

US model 1984 4000q doesn't have those side skirts.
