It was developed during the Vietnam era for combat wounds. It eventually
made it into the civilian market, and is surprisingly adaptable to closing
up those garage-related cuts, or gluing construction worker's hard-hats to
steel beams...
Just make sure that the wound is clean before you seal it up with the glue.
Nasty effect if you seal in the infectious agent.
Oh, and DON'T use super glue (cynoacrylate, or CA glue for short)
accelerator to quicken the curing of the glue on a wound. The accelerated
curing results in a lot of heat. Don't ask...
