Cat,

You can get a little torch kit at Home Depot or probably at any number of
hardware or home improvement stores. It is a 2-tank affair with individual
tank valves for regulating and mixing.

The two tanks are the same size as a standard propane torch, except one of
the tanks is special with a left-hand thread for the oxygen. For the other
tank I recommend MAP gas, though the torch kit may come with propane. Get
MAP gas if you can. MAP gas and Oxygen make a pretty hot little flame. The
oxygen tanks I have seen were red, propane tanks were blue or red, and MAP
gas has been yellow.

This little torch can cut metal if you want. I have used it several times
to cut rusted nuts off bolts on catalytic converters. It is just the
ticket for stubborn bolts and I would guess it only cost about $50. You
can heat the area around your O2 sensor until the casting is red and then
it should just turn out.

Also recommended highly is Kroil penetrating oil. See: www.kanolabs.com

There is no better penetrating oil.

Between this little torch and the Kroil penetrating oil I have had very
good success with removing stuck bolts.
