Cannot remove O2 sensor, Jubilee clips, etc

In my case, the old sensor HAD some anti-seize on it, but it was frozen
there nonetheless. And the new one I installed last spring is still
frozen there, antiseize notwithstanding. I tried to remove it last
summer, just to test it (what a good idea!!!) but I ended by leaving it
there. The split socket opened suddenly and I almost fell over the
engine... No harm, except to my honour. I didn't knew the Jubilee clip
trick... now I do!
