Quattro, no, it is very robust.

The nightmare high pressure power brake/steering system, yes.

Climate control, yes.

20 valves... I think the injectors are unobtainium/very expensive, or 
both.  I believe it is also an interference engine, but that is in the 
knowledge base somewhere, on the web site.  other than that, it's the 
same basic 5 cyl block, durable and not too too hard to work on.  Once 
you're used to them.

I'd like the 20v, I think, but I don't know what use I'd have for the 
extra 30 hp... breaking my snow tires loose on a curve on packed snow?
