If its the same as a 5k with the bubble flares on the lines, just ask for
metric bubble flare line and it will work perfect. I found galvanized line
at CAP, while AutoZone only had painted line. Double check that any
couplers you get are also metric bubble flare. I had to piece together 2
lines to make it to the R side, but that will make it easir to fix later
since it only rots near the wheel well. For fittment, remove the old line,
trying to bend it as little as possible and remembering the escape path.
Use the original as a template, bending it to the bent shape (if
different) as you will need those bends to get it back in. Don't bother
with a bender for such small lines. Just use your hands and watch
carefully to make sure it doesn't start to kink. If it starts to kink, you
can open it back up with a vice. If you have to put a bend near the end
fitting, slip it into a deep socket for leverage. I just coiled up any
extra at the end rather than trying to cut and re-flare it since I didn't
have a bubble flaring tool and I didn't want to damage the galvanize. Do
the final fitment in place.
