Final drive fluid test?(MORE)

I just finished a phone call with the owner, to verify that he could show 
the car today.  He reported that the car had hung up in 2d gear when 
leaving the mall last night, and that a pool of pink tranny fluid was under 
the car this morning. He thinks it will be necessary to take it to a local 
transmission repair shop for diagnosis and treatment.  I'm going to give 
him your post, anong with my archive copy, and hope that he finds them helpful.

I guess this puts any possibility of buying the car on ice until the tranny 
thing is resolved.
