Now when the topic of A4 timing belts comes up, you can casually say "Well 
when I did mine . . . "

Some parts of the satisfaction of doing your own work include money saved, 
bragging rights, knowing it was done right, and finding that it runs better 
than when you started. Keep up the good work. ("Today the timing belt, 
tomorrow, the T*RS*N!!!")
