Using Heat on Stuck Things, it works based on Physics

I'm no expert on the physics of metals either; (Surprised?)
Grab a torch, affix a "rosebud" (you welders know what that is), and make
that pipe glow................. The offending inserted part will d*mn near
LEAP out. BTDT, more than 45 years worth. Heat can be a wonderful thing in
the world of machinery. Often, the more the better. Makes tight things go
together, makes 'em come apart. You can drop a press fit gear or flange
onto a shaft, and you can make it come back off with ease. You can remove a
broken stud by getting it red hot and hitting the O2 for a split second, and
not damage the parent metal (trust me, don't try that at home!)

Of course , that's just my opinion, I could be wrong....... John
