Euro tail parts on a US CGT?

I'm in the process of Euroing my CGT, well sort of. I'm trying to get my lighting up to Euro specs. I am now running H4s up front and will  be adding fogs in the bumper, hooked up to an OEM Audi fog light switch and a rear fog hooked up to an OEM Audi rear fog switch.. But the questions come up with the REAR fog. I am trying to figure out what all I need. I've got a line on the tail lights (tinted) and center section (red). But the confusing part to me is dealing with the license plate issue. Can I use the Euro red center section with my USA license plate section? What I mean is the black part that has the license plate lights that the license plate bolts to. Or do I need some other parts to make this all work? Liek the euro black plate holder section? My thought process tells me that what I should do is use the red reflector section (that says COUPE) with my USA black license plate section. Can anybody confirm? The USA red center section is part number 855 945 69, not sure what the euro part number is...
