Failure mode of the 4kq rear calipers is to stick with the parking brake on (dragging the brake) due to crud & rust buildup in the parking brake actuator mechanism. I once drove a couple miles with one of the calipers stuck, when I stopped to see why there was so much drag on the car, the rear brake rotor was glowing a nice cherry red color from all the friction generated heat!

. Any idea what an acceptable drag
>level would be? Probably much less than I could measure with a torque wrench.
Shouldn't be ANY real contact between the brake pads and rotors after the
brake pedal/parking brake is released and the wheel spun a few revs, should
there?
