metric tools - not so dumb question?

The only exception I know of was FACOM, who produced a kind of enhanced 3/8" drive rated for
much higher torques when the drivers and sockets were used in combination.  Otherwise they all
interfaced at standard torques with normal 3/8" accessories.

Sadly discontinued before I could afford the investment of totally re-equipping with it.  It
would have saved around 10Kg in tool weight in the mobile workshop.
