With regards to your comment about the fuel injection lines/cold start line. I encountered this delimma when I hooked mine up. I was under the impression at the time that there was no difference in fuel ports, but then re-doubleing my thinking I still have doubt. Shouldn't the port for the C.S. injector on CIS-E3 distributor have full system pressure and therefore be different than the other five lines? This was a difference from the CIS-E setup, as all lines, incl. C.S. injector could be interchanged, and the only clue as to where they actually went was the fabricated bends in the lines and they could easily be re-arranged. I used a picture form Huw to verify my hookup matched, but it is difficult to tell from a picture.
So, I am still not sure this might not be a problem I have with mine - hard/no start without priming the system first, by lifting air plate with FPrelay jumpered. Engine runs fine when started, with possible idle regulation problem.
Question in short - are all the CIS-E3 fuel line ports on top of distributor the same, or is one different to accomodate the C.S. injector?
Ben

Hi there,
you must have used the ng sensors on the head instead of your
old system's. Are you shure you got the proper spark and fuel pressure
sometimes ppl mix up the fuel distributor hoses (extrenal fuel regulator)
with coldstart valve, also the ng's electronic fuel pressure regulator isn't
the same as the 2.2. Also be shure you dont have a vacuum leak... very
probable... If i were you i would have used the ng's system because of
electronic ignition regulation. At very least don't use regular (gas) and
watch out for knock...]
