Yes, exactly.

If you want a better idea of what your injectors are doing, and do this 
carefully, well vented, no sparks, etc., pull the injectors out of the 
head/manifold and stick them in jars, set up a way to jump the fuel pump 
relay (so the pump runs), and with it running, raise the air plate by 
hand.  The injectors should start to spray then, and youwill see their 
relative flow rates (by how much is in each jar) and spray patterns.
