Lot's of discussion about this on AudiWorld. Take a look at your coil pack.
If it is made by Hitachi (VAG part number ends in E or F) then you are
likely OK (just normal failures). It's the "H" part that has been failing a
lot. Mostly, TT's haven't been too involved. It's been other 1.8T motors
particularly in the A4.
