Note, as I said, it's not depleting ALL of the oil,
just the economically viable oil.
Current auto tech is based on cheap availible
energy. (even for Europe and the rest of the
world, it's still comparatively cheap there)
When oil is no longer "cheap" we'll move
on to something else.
And cheap is a relative thing, considering
the probable effects on our climate and the
weather.....
There's economics for ya!
