urq brake line problem

Did you consider cutting the line, buying a few male and female
fittings, a short piece of brake line, and splicing in a few inches of
new line? Buy a flaring tool and pipe cutter if there is room to work. I
did this on a Jetta a year ago and it didn't cause problems. Be careful
of the fittings, though, it is easy to get the wrong thread style.
