seat mods-UPDATE

 Sorry gang, I guess I should have specified: they are
brownish-tan cloth and NOT heated(guess that explains
why they were so cheap and why I can't give them
away!). Anyway, I would like to swap the armrest over
to my QSW seat. Anyone BTDT?

Hi all,

I recently bought a set of Audi 80 seats thinking they
would fit in my QSW-they won't-but at $10 for the pair
I couldn't pass them up. I have since found that not
only will they not fit the QSW, I can't even give the
things away. A shame since they are in great shape.

So my question now is can I remove the armrest from
the 80 driver's seat and install it on the QSW
driver's seat? Is this feasible or not? An armrest
would be a blessing on the QSW, especially on longer
trips.

Was there ever a 4000 driver's seat made with an
armrest? I thinking of making an office chair from the
80 passenger side a la' Huw's idea.
