Every urQ owner knows there is a 90 liter fuel tank on this car.
Every urQ owner knows the car needs Premium fuel.
Every urQ owner knows the car will not do better than 15 liters/100km
(16mpg) during winter city commuting.
Premium fuel is 90 cent a liter in Quebec these days (3.40 $CAN a gallon).
So last night, I stopped at the gas station (self-serve, pay-at-the-pump
type), put my credit card in the machine, and began to fill the car (was
real empty).
Near the end, at 82 liters, the pump slowed and stopped. I look at the
dial: 75$CAN! Yes, my car wanted more but the pump pre-approved limit is
75$.
I smiled, put the gas cap back on and drove home. This car is a monster.
