I just recently upgraded to a 3B coil with no apparent differnece, I was going to test an MSD ignition booster but didn't have a chance to put it in.

Just standard HG and stretch bolts for the time being.

>From what I remember from my electrical classes in engineering school, through the alcohol soaked haze (and I'm a mech eng, so even less authority here), was that it is harder to pass a spark through air as the pressure gets higher.
>If your coil is weak, or gets too hot, it may be having problems sparking when boost is up (higher pressure).  I don't know what kind of coil you are running, or if it gets hot on the track, but that would be one of the places I would look.  Coils will also have trouble sometimes if they get too hot, so having more problems on the hotter day tends to make me think that is possible.
>  I don't see how a head gasket leak would cause something like that, unless it is pretty big, at which point I'd think you would be seeing other problems first.

>Are you running raceware studs or something similar, or standard head bolts? Just curious.
