Come on, let's do it! - central locking

I did my part too. I sent my donation and $ 5 to Rob Myers for decals.
Thanks Rob for volunteering to be the conduit for donations to Dan.
My family and I have benefited greatly from the Q-list. Aside from neat
gear-head stuff like turbos, shocks etc, members of the Q-list have provided
advice on potentially life saving matters like tires, brakes etc. This is
one list where I havetruly received more than my donation can match.
The least I can do is my part to keep it going.

Now a question....

In my 1990 200 tqw, the central lockign system does not work. When I
disconnect and then reconnect the wires to the control module under the rear
seat, the system works for a few hours, sometimes days, and then goes on the
blink again. We have tried cleaning the contacts. IS this is a problem
with just bad connection, or is there something else going on, such as a
malfunction inside the control module ? Any BTDT ? Thanks.

I don't want to brag, but examples are better than simple words;

I did my part; i have sent money to Dan.

Everybody can do the same. It won't hurt your weekly beer intake much.

PS: let the list know you did it, as an incentive for slow adopters...
