idle problem

Hey there,

I am a back yard mechanic so this is just my .02 but have you looked at

the distributor cap for cracks?  Spray it with WD40 on the inside and
see what happens.  That was my problem after several hours of driving
my
4000q hard at the ice races in Wisconsin last year.  Cleaned out the
cap
and sprayed it with WD40 and she made it home so I could put a good cap

back on.

These caps are known to crack a lot.  Especially NON Bosch brands for
some reason.  Mine was only a few weeks old when it happened and it was

the 2nd 4k/urQ that it happened to that season.
