interesting photo, bent connecting rod

I will try to post a pic of one I just found when I went to replace the
engine in a 90.
They had taken it to a shop complaining that the oil press gauge showed low
oil press, was told it was a gauge problem.  Apparently the older gentelmen
didn't hear it until much too late.  It had punched holes in both sides of
the block and broke the piston apart until it was no longer connected to
anything.  I found it half way out the hole.

apparently this one was from a 90q20v run dry on oil......  Less "cool"
than the effect of too much HP but fun to look at the carnage
nonetheless :-)
