Naw, just having the parking light and headlight current running through
it.  The parking circuit actually tends to be the worst culprit.  Your
connector may also be damaged from the heat.

Just the top cover.  A few (4?) screws, spread the sides (easier when
warm) and lift it off.  The switch is tough to remove without breaking
the bezel thing that holds it.  Oops, yours is already broken, it will
be easy.

Try Chris at Force 5, etc.  The part is NLA new, sadly, and most used
ones are at least a bit broken in that same area.
